Very Berry Fruit Bowl

Summer is smiling upon us and enjoying a delicious fruit bowl is a cool and refreshing way to begin the day. I love to have fun with this recipe, by mixing and matching layers in different ways. Turn off the oven and let's dig in.

Yield 1 Serving

Ingredients

1 scoop protein powder (optional)
1 frozen sliced banana
1 tsp. white chia seeds (sometimes I'll replace with almonds)
1 tsp. flax seeds
1 tsp. cacao nibs
1/3 c frozen berries (chef's choice)
1 c vanilla almond milk

Garnish

1 scoop granola
Coconut flakes
Fresh berries or bananas

Directions:

Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Pour into a bowl or cup and garnish with granola, coconut and fruit. Savor and enjoy!
